Kinyomtatják, aztán órák alatt felépül

Három óra alatt felhúzták azt a kínai emeletes házat, mely kilenctized részben 3D-nyomtatott alkotóelemekből áll.

Kép: Pic shows: The villa being assembled in three hours. A 3D printing technology company has designed a made-to-order villa which can be done in under three hours and includes everything you would expect in a modern household. The villa was put together by the company Zhuoda Group, which printed the custom villa and put it together with cranes on a public square in the city of Xi’an, capital of north-west China’s Shaanxi Province, impressing many a passer-by. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, and restroom modules were hoisted into place by a crane, after which bystanders were invited to visit the finished product. Zhouda Group claims that its innovative homes have a lifespan of at least 150 years and can withstand the harshest of conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, and magnitude 9.0 earthquakes. Zhouda Group has also applied for some 22 patents for its technology, made possible by a "secret" building material which has not be revealed but which is already attracted many interested buyers. According to Zhuoda’s engineers, a typical 500-square-metre villa can be made-to-order from start to finish in just 15 days, with the cost per square metre at around 257 to 308 GBP. Consumers will soon be able to order their custom villas when the technology hits the market in the near future.
